To ensure a smooth rental experience, please review our rental policy below.
Insurance Coverage
• All rentals include 100% Worry-Free Insurance:
• Covers damages resulting from accident, fire, or theft of the vehicle.
• Personal belongings are not covered.
• No excess applies, provided the rental terms are followed.
• No deposit required upon pick-up (except for luxury vehicles).
Driving Requirements
• Minimum driver age: 20 years.
• Driver’s license: must be valid for at least 1 year.
Traffic Violations
• The renter is responsible for any traffic fines or violations incurred during the rental period.
• Failure to report violations may result in additional administrative charges.
Taxes
• All rental rates are inclusive of 24% VAT.
Additional Drivers
• One (1) additional driver is permitted.
• Fee: €5 per day.
Roadside Assistance
• In the event of a mechanical failure (not caused by misuse), the vehicle will be replaced within 24 hours.
Flight Delays
• No additional charges for flight delays.
• Our team monitors flight schedules in real-time.
Key Loss
• The renter is responsible for all costs associated with lost or locked-in keys(replacement and/or retrieval)
Tyre Damage
• Non-repairable tyres are not covered by insurance.
• Repairable tyres may be reimbursed upon presentation of a receipt.
Late Return Policy
• Up to 1 hour delay (with prior notice): Free of charge.
• 1–3 hours delay: €10 per hour.
• Over 4 hours delay: Charged as a full rental day.
Vehicle Delivery & Collection
• Available at Heraklion Airport & Port.
• After-hours service (8:30 PM – 9:00 AM): €15fee.
• For rentals exceeding 15 days, delivery and collection are free of charge
Restrictions
• Vehicles must remain on the island of Crete.
• Taking vehicles off Crete will void the insurance.
• Off-road driving is strictly prohibited and subject to:
• €100 penalty fee, plus
• €50–€150 cleaning fee.
Cancellation Policy
• A 40% deposit is required at the time of booking (non-refundable).
• Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to: info@vipwheelsrentals.com.

Improper Use of Vehicle (Insurance Void)
Insurance coverage becomes void if the vehicle is used under any of the following conditions:
• Driving off-road or participating in racing events.
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Negligent or reckless use, including damage caused by misuse (e.g., burnt clutch, roof damage).
• Operation by unauthorized or unlicensed drivers.
