VIP Wheels Rentals Crete – Rental
Policy

✅ Insurance:
Your rental includes our 100% Worry-Free Insurance:
- Covers damage from accident, fire or theft of the vehicle (personal belongings are not
covered).
- No excess required, provided terms are respected.
- No deposit required at pickup (except luxury vehicles).

Driving Terms:
- Minimum age: 20 years old.
- Driver’s license: Minimum 1-year valid.
• EU licenses accepted.
• International license required for non-EU drivers.

Traffic Violations:
Renter is responsible for any traffic tickets or violations. Failure to report will result in a
charge.

Taxes:
All rates include 24% VAT.

Additional Drivers:
One (1) additional driver allowed at €5/day.

Roadside Assistance:
If the vehicle breaks down (not due to law violation), it will be replaced within 24 hours.

Flight Delays:
No extra charge for flight delays. Our staff tracks flight arrivals in real-time.

Key Loss:

Customer covers replacement/retrieval costs for lost or locked-in keys.

Tyre Damage:
- Non-repairable tyres are not covered by insurance.
- Repairable tyres can be reimbursed upon receipt.

Late Return:
- First hour delay: Free with notice.
- 1–3 hours: €10/hour.
- Over 4 hours: Charged as a full day.

Delivery & Collection:
- Available at Heraklion airport & port.
- After-hours (8:30PM–9:00AM): €15 charge.
- Rentals over 15 days: No pickup/dropoff fees.

Restrictions:
- Vehicles may not be taken off Crete. Insurance will be void.
- Off-road driving: €100 fine + €50–€150 cleaning fee.

Cancellation Policy:
- 40% deposit required at booking (non-refundable).
- Cancellation >48 hrs before: No additional fees.
- Cancellation <48 hrs or No-show: No refund.

Improper Use of Vehicle
Insurance will be void if:
- Driving off-road or participating in races.
- Driving under alcohol/drug influence.
- Reckless damage or neglect (e.g. burned clutch, roof damage).
- Driven by unauthorized or unlicensed persons.
